Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon

To prepare it you should use a non-stick pan – place on medium heat, and heat a teaspoon of oil, add onions and garlic, and sauté on medium flame until onions and garlic turn brown. Add carrots and cook for a minute, and mix in tomatoes (cook for 2 more minutes).
Roast green lentils in a different pan for approximately two minutes, and then add the lentils to the veggie mixture, with 1.5 cups of water to a large bowl.
