#10 Exercising on an empty stomach will not nullify a workout
If you exercise on an empty stomach, your body will trigger certain hormonal changes that are conducive to burning fat and building muscles.
The fasted state improves insulin sensitivity helping with absorption of nutrients from the food. The sugars from the bloodstream are directed to liver, muscles and fat cells that are to be used as energy later. When we eat too much and too often, we become resistant to these effects, and poor insulin sensitivity makes it harder for the body to lose fat. The fasted state also promote muscle gain due to the growth hormone. Training in a fasted state is a good way to build lean muscles and boost insulin sensitivity, according to studies. Running on an empty stomach helps the body to better use the energy it stores.

Poor decisions lead to weight gain, as well as bad habits. When you change your habits and truly commit yourself to a healthy lifestyle, you will certainly see the best results. But we are often victims of our habits, and while a bad habit is hard to brake, when it comes to dieting or exercising, in many situations, it’s about decisions we make. In time, poor decisions lead to significant change in how our brain functions and governs, and in turn, responds to hunger, satiation, and cravings. Behavior patterns lay down neural tracks, but the brain can “fix” these bad patterns with new patterns, such as healthy food choices, working out, and other.
Developing new habits takes months, or in some situations, years, but it’s possible and achievable. It’s has always been important to have good and positive thoughts.
