13 Things You Need To Know About Cellulite

Cellulite is omnipresent all around us. If people say that they don’t have cellulite-they are either delusional or lying. Everyone has it, even celebrities (check out Jennifer Lopez).

So here they are:

#1

Skinny people have cellulite (it’s not about being fat; it’s about your nutrition).

#2

Hormones trigger cellulite. If you are on the pill or you’re a new mother, it can influence your cellulite to appear. It is not a 100% proven fact, but it happens in some cases.

#3

If drinking coffee, drink plenty of water. Why? Cellulite is often triggered by caffeine, so you either drink less coffee or drink plenty of water. Don’t drink it without caffeine. It’s not quite natural, and you should avoid that.

#4

Run. It is easier to spot and fight cellulite if you lose some extra weight.

#5

Throw away your cigarettes. Since so many smokers have problems with cellulite, there are a couple of theories. The first one is that nicotine causes stress and the other one is that, since smoke sucks out the water from your body, that situation is a fertile land for cellulite to develop. Whatever the reason is, cigarettes are the cause.

#6

Body wraps don’t quite work. The awful truth is that cosmetic treatments are not proven to help your conditions. Body wraps may feel good, but it’s not proven that they work.

#7

When it comes to surgery, liposuction is probably not the best solution. Although it has some benefits, it can’t suck out all the dimples and it may end up looking even worse.

#8

If you are tanned, your skin may look more even, but as the tan fades, your skin is thinner because of sun exposure and the cellulite is even more visible. Use sunscreen lotion.

#9

Go to bed earlier.

#10

Eat your veggies and drink water. My beautician always said that veggies are golden. There is not a problem in your body that vegetables can’t fix.

#11

Yo-Yo dieting makes your cellulite appear, even if you’ve never had it

#12

Have a no stress policy and stick to it. Stress is one of the biggest causes of everything skin related. Relax in a bath or find your way to reduce it. The most effective way is to eliminate the causes.

#13

If you have thin skin, cellulite is more visible. You can try and make it thicker with some retinol skin cream, but the effect is only visual, the problem doesn’t disappear.
